mission statement

Women’s Sporting Club was formed to provide women access and education to the outdoors world. By providing our members with opportunities to hunt, shoot, fish and participate in archery we are working towards introducing life-long skills while fostering a strong sense of community.

Hog Hunt Canton TX June 9, 2017
  • Private ranch in Canton, TX
  • 3 participants, each outfitted with Trijicon and bolt-action 308” and NiteSite provided WolfRTEK and NiteSite SpotterXtreme
Hog Hunt Ennis TX June 16, 2017
  • 2 participants hosted by Lloyd Hill on private land and equipped with Trijicon Thermal scopes and bolt-action 243 rifles
Fishing Trip Corsicana, TX June 17, 2017
  • Bass fishing hosted at private ranch in Corsicana, TX
  • 4 participants guided by Derrick Moore
  • 3 of 4 participants were new to fishing
Shotgun Clinic with Vincent Hancock June 20, 2017
  • Instructional clinic lead by 2 time Gold Medal Olympian in Skeet, Vincent Hancock
  • 18 participants, 10 of which were new or first time shooters
  • Clinic focused on fundamentals of shotgun skills and handling firearms
Dove Season Opener at Talley Ranch September 2, 2017

WSC ladies’ attended and participated in the Dove Season Opener Invite at Talley Ranch

Beretta Tactical Training Event: September 16, 2017

WSC Co-Founders Ericka Luddy and Martha Justice Moore attended this event hosted by Beretta to showcase the new AXP. Handgun tactical skills were taught as well as long range rifle up to 1 mile.

John Wayne Walding and Jeff Kyle were primary instructors with Lloyd Hill and a few others from 5ToesCustom and Stand 1 Armory.

Also in attendance was Courtney Smith (@sportswomancourtney) and Liberte Austin (@Liberteaustin)
